This course is best for individuals seeking to gain new knowledge in order to pursue a career in systems integration. The MODBUS protocol will be used extensively in this program.
IGSS50 is a full-featured SCADA software that runs without time limit but only allows a maximum of 50 objects to be connected; trainees will be taught how to set up and configure the program.
You will learn how to create MODBUS servers and MODBUS clients on the RTU to communicate with field devices and to connect to the network
Training will start with the basics of serial data communication. RS485, RS232, and RS422 serial interface standards will be discussed in detail

A 60-day full-featured evaluation copy of ASE2000 Protocol Analyzer
Advanced SCADA Training (DNP3) - 7 days
Trainees will be taught to set up and configure the Ignition SCADA Software for this training.
Using the DNP3 Protocol, you will connect to the substation RTU and using Modbus, to the field instruments.
The DNP3 data frames will be studied in detail using the DNP3 Breakout Sheet and ASE2000 Protocol Analyzer, this constitutes the bulk of the training course.
Towards the end of the course, each participant is required to create a small multi-protocol SCADA system using MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP, and DNP3 to demonstrate its functionality.
